RSVP for a ticket to the show February 2, 2019

After being asked a number of times I have re-opened ticket sales for my show. So, if you would like to see what I got up to while I was in Thailand...please come! I would love to share it with you.

The Project

In an attempt to reclaim my soul I have booked a trip to Thailand in August of 2018 and I have decided to ditch my phone. For several years I have been running two businesses and spreading myself far too thin. I'm burnt out and I need an exotic escape. I miss having time with my camera, in a foreign land, experiencing new cultures and feeling inspired. What I'm saying is I need a change of pace and I want to do ART, creating images that won't be shared with the world or blasted over the World Wide Web. I'll be Disconnected for three weeks in order to reconnect with the myself, and I would like to share it with you.

So I've decided to have a show, because I miss hanging shows and I miss walking around and discussing my work with people face to face. I miss the way it feels when it all finally comes together, and I miss seeing people walk out of a room with one of my prints in their hand knowing that it's going to hang on their wall and live in their personal space. I miss the art of photography. The art I dove headfirst into almost 20 years ago.  I'm extremely tired of the Internet and social media. I want to see my pictures in PRINT hanging on the wall, and I am inviting  you to come share it with me. One night. One show. One chance to share this experience with the world.

How's it going to work?
So I'm going sell 108 tickets to my see my show at $20 a piece and I'm going to sell a very limited edition of prints for those of you that want to take home an original piece of art work. A print that will never be on the Internet. In fact, I'm not going to post anything on social media or the Internet about my trip other than announcing this show.

25 of you will be able to purchase a 4x6 print for $40, which will be a signed and numbered 1-5/5, with a possibility of 5 different prints available. How do you know what print you will get? You don't. The first person to arrive at the show who has purchased a 4x6 print gets the first choice, the 25th person, the last 4x6 print left unclaimed. What if everyone gets there at the same time? Well we will have to draw straws or see who can hold a handstand the longest...what I'm saying is we will figure it out.

As the print sizes get larger, the number of available prints goes down and the price goes up. Each different print size has a description in the ticket page. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to email or call me.

If you happen to be a person that buys an 11x14 or larger print then you will have a personal showing and help me choose the final prints of your image.

If in fact you purchase the largest print available then you will have the only
one of its’ kind. You will also have the first personal showing of the entire collection and choose the one photo from the collection that will be yours alone.

I’m excited about this show. I’m excited to share it with people that are interested in my work and want to experience it with me. I’m excited about getting off the internet and reclaiming my freedom without feeling like I should post something about it, or share it on social media for work or marketing or even likes and my dopamine levelsI believe life is a journey, in fact I believe it so much that I have a tattoo of the phrase on my foot.  I think it’s probably the most natural feeling in the world to feel tapped out these days, but rather than a journey it often feels as if we’re in a never-ending race going nowhere; instead we’re just running in circles. So this is my attempt to do something about it. To reconnect with my art and my audience in a way I haven’t had the chance to do in a long time. I hope to see you in November and tell you all about my adventures abroad. If you’re interested in the places I’ll be going and I wish I could tell you, but I haven’t even made that decision myself. I can tell you the subjects I’m interested in photographing.
