Join us as we hear from CREW Upstate members that have their own businesses. We will learn how they came to start their own business and the hurdles they overcame to get where they are today.

Meet Our Speakers:

Ramona R. Farrell, MBA, CFBA, CFE, CFCI is an independent forensic accounting consultant and the founder/owner of Farrell Insights LLC, a management consulting company whose purpose is to bring calm and clarity to chaos and avenues for closure with simple, specialized solutions. She holds a master’s degree of business administration (MBA), is a certified family business advisor (CFBA), certified fraud examiner (CFE), and certified financial crimes investigator (CFCI).

Rachel Johnson is the president of Forge Commercial Construction, a general contracting firm based in Greenville. She started her career in construction in 2007 and has experience managing both commercial and residential projects. As a certified general contractor in multiple states, Rachel has managed everything from small renovations to new construction projects in the Carolinas, Florida, Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. 

Christina Moir, MAI owns Sagepoint Valuation, a commercial real estate appraisal firm, in addition to managing commercial and residential properties. She began her career in Alaska flipping residential houses. While her first house netted a loss of $2,000, she gained a career in the valuation field. She has since valued well over $2 billion of commercial real state in the upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina. She has been in business with a partner and independently for the past 20 years. 

Chesley White is one of the owners of SHLTR architects, a boutique architecture firm in Greenville. She started SHLTR with her business partner Tara in the fall of 2016. To date they have grown to 7 employees and have completed many significant projects around Greenville and the Upstate. They owe their success to creating authentic relationships with clients and providing a top-notch level of customer service while having fun in the process.
