Join us for an exciting week of Peer Power Self Advocacy Summit Events September 21-25

Registration is free! Zoom links will be sent out to those who registered prior to the Summit.

This is event is VIRTUAL this year!

This year's Summit is intended for Alaskan's with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) who are 18 years of age or older. The focus for this year is as follows:

Monday 4-6pm: Peer Power intro and special guest Zach Anner *Disability Confidence*

Tuesday 4pm: Peer Power Social Hour

Wednesday 4/4:30-6pm special guest Andrew Gurza *Disability and Sexuality*

Thursday 4pm: Peer Power Social Hour

Friday 4/4:30-6pm: Michael McCreary *Comedy and Disability*

We encourage individuals from all regions of Alaska to join the Summit and learn better skills for self-advocacy.

Peer Power is a non-profit peer organization for people who experience developmental or intellectual disabilities that educates, promotes, and advances the empowerment of self-advocates. The group helps self-advocates become empowered by working on issues such as employment, self-advocate mentoring, funding resources, and raising disability awareness throughout the community.
