Event Description
It's here everyone, the East Coast Rotary (AND PISTON) Classic 2017.We promised you bigger and better last year. And thanks to every single one of you who participated made 2016 even LARGER than it was before. We are so excited and proud to announce that this year we are going to be holding it at the BRAND NEW Dominion Raceway oval track. The oval is a NASCAR rated track, and welcomes all types of cars to its venue. With that being said, we are opening the event this year to ALL CARS. Rotary, Piston, Diesel, Trucks, and more. The show will be divided off for the ECRC car show, and then the separate area of the track will be judged and awarded just the same.
We have a few things that will be happening at the event.
-The track time can be purchased separately and is open to everyone that passes the tech inspection from Dominion. We will limit to 8 Laps per person and when you sign up we will send you the tech sheet so you make sure your car is ready (No refunds will be provided for purchasing the ticket and then not passing) Please make sure your car is track ready, with appropriate gear and tires.
-On site Dyno will be back, for those who don't want to track their car but see what HP its pushing.... (hint, we may do a prize for highest hp and torque combo!!)
-BURNOUT CONTEST... speaks for itself. It will be held at the later part of the event and any car is eligible. Wristbands are sold separate to the registration. Please make sure that if you want to do it, that you pre register..
-Professional Photography - and individual shoots if scheduled with them (such as track pictures)
-Dominion Raceway has a concession in the track and we will be utilizing their menu for our event. Things such as corndogs, hamburgers, hotdogs, fries.. you know the usual.. (Might be some 21+ drinks there too just please be responsible and don't grill on your own.. leave that to us)
-We will have trophies for the classes (best fb, best fc, best fd, best rx8, best other rotary, best invader aka (other car), best engine bay, best in show and finally the family chosen "Chris angel Vargas" award.
-Tshirts will be for sale from us as well as the vendors that will be on site. Vendors will be choosing their products to bring with them, so be sure to follow us on angelmotorsportsva Facebook to keep up with the vendors that join us in the event.
