09:00 AM - 09:00 PM

National Mall

National Mall, Washington, DC, USA

Given the unique and long lasting union between the Indigenous and Black populations of the United States, we, "Black & Indigenous Solidarity," was established to promote and take action by:

  • providing wisdom and historical facts
  • highlighting impact and collaborations of these two cultures through intentional acts
  • showcasing collaborative efforts on community based projects

In efforts to further showcase collaborative efforts among the Indigenous and Black community, "The Coalition for Black and Indigenous Solidarity" will be taking part in the August 28th March in Washington D.C. so that our voices can be heard along with thousands of others from across the nation to stand and Fight against Police Brutality.

We ask that you please represent for your tribal affiliations by coming in partial or full regalia if you can and any paraphernalia supporting the agenda.

We will be carrying picket signs with specific messaging about previous historic unity moments between black and Indigenous communities to encourage education, and conjoined union for our collective liberation and sovereignty.
