Rockit Music Academy - "Goes to the Movies"

The Rockit Live Foundation is New Jersey's leading rock band program for young musicians, ages 8-18. Rockit, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, helps nurture, inspire and enrich the lives of young musicians through live music education offered at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in the heart of Red Bank New Jersey. Rockit also provides professional development and music scholarships while emphasizing the importance of community charity efforts. Rockit Advisory Board members, Maureen and Steven Van Zandt, Carmine Appice, Eddie Brigati, Ricky Byrd, Jacquie Lee, Christine Meisenhelter, Rich Russo & Mark Weiss lend their talent and support to a cause they keep close to their hearts. Rockit alumni having gone on to tour with Steve Vai, perform with Keith Urban, sing on Broadway and become finalists on The X-Factor and NBC’s The Voice.
