2023 Zikr Dance Ensemble: INITIATION (Broomfield, CO)

Zikr Dance Ensemble is excited to announce its 2023 Fall Season: “Initiation,” featuring a reprise of Tomm Ruud’s stunning miniature masterpiece and audience favorite, “Mobile,” along with two new premieres by Artistic Director David Taylor:

• “Icarus After,” based on the Greek myth of the son of master craftsman Daedalus who flew close to the sun with his waxen wings, and
• “Ripples in the Sand”, an abstract multi-media work set to the haunting music of Hans Zimmer.
