Prashe Fashion Show 2016

Event Description

Award-winning couture designer, Prashi Shah will present her 2016 Ready To Wear & Couture Runway Show at One Arts Plaza on June 17, doors at 7 p.m. The show will begin promptly at 8:30pm.

 Shah will showcase her contemporary and Eastern-eclectic designs, known for signature hand embroidery, vibrant patterns, luxurious linens and fine silks. This collection reflects a very special time in Shah's life, as it is the first show since the birth of her twin daughters. The collection is fun, flirty, feminine, colorful and confident – incorporating Shah’s passions for nature, travel, architecture, culture, love and new motherhood. 

This will be the first ever fashion show held at One Arts, the $125 million multi-use structure located in the Dallas Arts District. Jan Strimple will produce the elaborate, 50+ model fashion show where models will walk an extravagant outdoor runway designed around the Plaza’s dynamic fountain. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Dallas Black Dance Theatre, an organization that creates and produces contemporary modern dance and bridges cultures. On the night, there will be a special performance by members of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre honoring their 40th anniversary. 

RAIN PLAN: In the event of inclement weather, the PRASHE 2016 Fashion Show will be moved inside on One Arts Plaza.
