The men of Phi Delta Theta will be hosting our first annual Kick for a Cure event! All proceeds will go directly to the Live Like Lou Foundation in efforts to find a cure for ALS.
The event will consist of a kickball tournament as well as a tailgate with music, games, and an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil!
The Live Like Lou Foundation was founded in 2012 after Neil Alexander, a lifelong brother of Phi Delta Theta, was diagnosed with ALS. Lou Gehrig, another Phi Delt brother and a hall of fame baseball player, is the inspiration for Phi Delta Theta’s commitment to battling ALS. Since 2012, Phi Delta Theta has assisted the foundation in raising over $4 million.
Teams will consist of 5 players. The winning team will receive a $300 check to the philanthropy of their choosing. So if you’re in a fraternity, sorority, or other organization, Kick for a Cure is a great way to win money for your own philanthropy!
