This workshop will discuss techniques to revise your drafts to perfection, from the basic fundamentals of good writing to the more complex issues surrounding improving the pacing of the plot, enhancing the character development, and elevating the overall emotional resonance.

Speaker bio:

Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen is an award-winning children’s book author whose books include Roxie Loves Adventure, Chicks Rule, The United States vs. Jackie Robinson (2019 ALSC Notable Children’s Books List), Tyrannosaurus Wrecks (Junior Library Guild Selection), and the Purrmaids chapter book series. She has visited schools and libraries for the past 20 years, talking to kids about writing, reading, and finding their voices.
