Welcome to this charity event for all...

For anyone booked onto a Restorative workshop with me that was cancelled due to coronavirus, this is a chance for you to redeem your workshop credit.

Please read the information below carefully...since you will be practising in your own home you will need to pre-prepare some props for this session (listed at the bottom).

Please source your props as suggested below well in advance - thank you

I am donating all profits from this workshop to NHS charities together. Those who work for the NHS are invited to attend this workshop for free.

What is Restorative Yoga? 

Profoundly relaxing yoga postures that allow the body to completely rest (not stretching)

What is Yoga Nidra?

A guided body scan / journey that induces deep, conscious rest and aligns the activity of your right and left brain hemispheres.

What are the benefits?

These practices activate the parasympathetic nervous system which takes people out of "fight or flight" and promotes regenerative, restorative whole system recovery 

Who is it for?

This workshop is for everyone and anyone in need of some R&R. Those who work for the NHS are invited to attend this workshop for free.

What Charity are we supporting?

I am donating all profits from this workshop to the Covid 19 Campaign on behalf of NHS charities together who provide resources and support for the people working on the frontline

Why?

It is likely that many of those on the frontline have, are or will be facing stress, burn-out, overwhelm, exhaustion and other trauma-related issues that have a detrimental effect on health and wellbeing.

How is your wellbeing?

For many of us not working on the frontline, we are also facing our own enormous personal challenges, be they financial, emotional or situational...


THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT NHS STAFF & TO SUPPORT YOURSELF

Restorative practices are an elixir for the nervous system offering a gentle, quiet space to soften, surrender & return to balance.

Together we will REST, REFLECT, INTEGRATE & RECOVER from the past few months through the practice of true, deep, conscious rest

I hope to see you there and thank you so much for your donations. After the workshop has ended I will share the donation details with you.

Please prepare your props way in advance - you will need:

FLOOR SPACE

A CHAIR

AS MANY BLANKETS AS POSS (or towels, duvets, whatever you have)

A STACK OF THICK, HARDBACK BOOKS (or yoga bricks)

NICE AND WARM (please have socks and layers as well)

AS QUIET AS POSS

PREFERABLY DARK
