What is Ticketbud?
Ticketbud is an event marketing, event registration and online ticketing service that allows you to easily and affordably sell tickets online.
How are payments processed?
Ticketbud allows you to accept all major credit cards and electronic checks by using your own PayPal account. Ticketbud seamlessly integrates PayPal into your Event Page and you collect money from ticket sales directly into your PayPal account.
How do I sell tickets online?
Sell tickets online by creating a Ticketbud. You will be guided through simple steps to set up your event page ("Ticket Window") and can start selling tickets to your events in less than five minutes.

Can I link or integrate my Ticketbud Event Page into my website?
Yes! We have a selection of code snippets ready to paste into your site. You can also share your event on Facebook, Twitter, and many other social sites by clicking the share icon at the top of your Ticket Window.
How do I know if I have sold any tickets?
All ticket sales show up in real time under "View Ticket Sales" for your event. Data includes customer name, ticket type, price and more.
How much does Ticketbud cost to use?
Most Ticketing applications charge enormous fees per ticket sold plus a percentage fee of the ticket price. Ticketbud believes you should keep your money you charge for you ticket, that's why we only charge $19.99 per event regardless of how many tickets you sell. You also get to try Ticketbud free, because you are allowed to sell up to 5 tickets before paying for your Ticket Window (we do recommend you pay right away though, so you don't miss any sales).

What if tickets to my event are free?
Then using Ticketbud is free! You can promote your event with a free page and use all the tools with no fees.
Who created Ticketbud?
Ticketbud was created by a team of high tech professionals with multi-decade experience in software application development running on Linux.  Ticketbud's engineering team is highly skilled in open source development and are champions of the open source philosophy. 

What happens when my event ends and I no longer need my Ticketbud?
When your event is over your page may either remain public to help advertise your organization and venue, though the purchase form will no longer be active. You may choose to stop showing your expired events in your main public page. You can "reactivate" and update an expired Ticketbud.

What other features come with Ticketbud?
Besides the ability to sell tickets to your events, Ticketbud allows you to:
  • Email invitations to your guests
  • Export guest registration data to a CSV file so you capture valuable marketing information for future events
  • Link your to Event Page from your existing website with our button/badge
  • Add a logo or image to your Event Page
  • Permanently keep your web address to showcase your events. For example: myusername.ticketbud.com
  • Host public or private events
  • Publish the attendee list and/or ticket quantity remaining on the Event Page

How secure is Ticketbud?
Ticketbud runs on extremely stable 64-bit Linux servers, optimized for speed and security in both Texas and California.  

I do not want the public viewing my event, can I keep it private?
Yes. In step one of 'Creating a Ticketbud' choose public or private.  By selecting private, your Event Page Ticket Window can only be viewed by those people with whom you've shared the special link URL.
Can my guests pay me without having to sign up for a PayPal account?
Yes, as long as you have a PayPal Premier account or a Website Standard account your guests do NOT have to sign up for a PayPal account to pay you. They will this link on the bottom left of your PayPal payment page entitled:
"Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card..."


If you do not see this link on your payment page, please activate this setting:

  1. Log in to PayPal, then click the Profile tab.
  2. Under the Selling Preferences select Website Payment Preferences.
  3. Scroll down the page to "PayPal Account Optional" and for PayPal Account Optional select "on".

Now your guests can pay you via Credit Card without having to Log in to PayPal or have a PayPal account. When they go to your PayPal payment page all they need to do is click the Continue link at the bottom left section called "Don't have a PayPal account".
