We are happy to announce a new feature for Ticketbud: Promotions.

In our humble beginning, we allowed you to add a single discount code for your ticket configurations. We listened to your feedback requests for multiple discount codes, and we have delivered that and then some.

Promotions are a way to add as many promotional codes to your event as you please.

Let’s examine a common use case for promotions:

You would like to offer a 10% discount on your tickets through one advertising channel. You would also like to offer $10 off of your VIP tickets. Using our new promotions configuration, this is a snap.

To view your running promotions go to your events page:

Now you click on the “Bull Horn” icon for one of your events:

You will be greeted with a page showing all of your promotions for this event. Click on “Add Promotion”.

To setup your 10% off discount, configure your promotion as you see below. Pick your own promotional code, this example uses a generic code.

Now to setup $10 off of your VIP tickets, click on “Add Promotion” to add another promotion. Configure it as you see below, once again choose your own promotional code as this is a generic example.

Your promotions page should now look like this:

Your visitors will now have an entry box where they can enter these promotional codes.

If you prefer, you can pre-fill this promotional code for your advertising. Simply copy the convenience url and use it in your correspondence. When your attendees click on the link, the promotion will already be applied.
